DriveSafe Volunteer Administrator

Why not join our Police Support Volunteer team with enthusiasm to support our local officers. We are looking for committed Police Support Volunteers to work across the county and have a number of locations across Hertfordshire.

Do you have good interpersonal skills are computer literate who would be confident dealing with the general public.

As a DriveSafe Volunteer you will supporting
PCSOs/PCs delivering local induction training to new DriveSafe schemes
PCSOS/PCs at appropriate forums including Parish meeitings
Support individual DriveSafe schemes with issues that may arise and help to problem solve
Support DriveSafe teams with publicising their schemes
Support the evaluation of the DriveSafe scheme
Assist the DriveSage team with allocating DriveSage equipment
Support communication with DriveSafe groups by setting up, monitoring and moderating and on-line forum.

The Volunteer Scheme welcomes applications from across the county and reimburses travelling expenses up to 15 miles from the volunteering location.

Skills you need:

Communication Skills
Computer literate with good keyboard skills.
good communication and interpersonal skills

Skills you will gain:

All volunteers receive a local induction and a Volunteer Handbook with all the information you will need to support you in your role. ‘On the job’ training will be provided by members of your team
